Working under the sun is a tough job and it is not good for the skin. I just don't understand why are so many people still loves to get sun tan under the sun. It is not something to enjoy but really hurting our skin even with those sun oil. That's what I feel anyway. maybe you have different opinion. Share with us ?

It is good to enjoy life whether it is sunshine or raining. Sometimes, I like raining more than the sun. However, it is good to be even.

I spent a large part of my life outdoors as an archeologist. I am lucky to not get sunburns often, but I try to not forget sun oil during summer. I do not appreciate the heat, but I have always preferred to work outdoors under the sun than when it is freezing : I have horrible memories of ice in my hair and beard under a freezing rain

Wow, you are an archeologist. Yes, freezing rain was really something and I have experience with that too while I was still in Canada when I was young. I think we all like warm whether and it is nice to be warm anyway. Enjoy an apple first.

@wildlittlefan Lol, we had a President who made a large part of his campaign with the slogan : "Eat apples"
.
You certainly did not knew it, but I am in one of the rare area of France where people prefer red apples to yellow apples, so I accept the gift gladly
.
I am rarely outdoors now, and normally we should not work outdoors when it is freezing hard without installing an equipment over the excavation. It was because we had a deadline for an excavation that we decided to continue without installing tents, heaters, etc. It permitted to respect the time limits

No, I am more likely to burn than tan. If it's very hot I usually wear a hat.

Even I hate to get tan on my skin. It feels I have lost something, also it is very hard to get rid of it. Do you know how to remove tan?
