Finally, Our Broken Tree Is Becoming A Stump

Last week we had a big wind that came through and took down a huge branch from our tree on the side of our house. It was one of those huge, beautiful, old oak trees. Today finally the rest of the tree is coming down. We found someone who is licensed and insured for tree cutting that isn't charging an arm and a leg. They have a good reputation and we are lucky to get them. We can't wait for this tree to become a stump. We did find out that the reason a big part of it broke off is because the tree was starting to rot in the middle. There was no outside sign of it or we would have had it cut down sooner.
