Garbage: One of the ways God protects us!

After reading a post by Lori A Moore about how we should eat food that rots (meaning fresh foods that aren't full of harmful preservatives), I thought about how God designed a safety net for us.
Think about the wonderful aroma of fresh, hot pizza. Or crispy, fried fish or delicious baked beans. It stimulates our appetite and we can't wait to start eating and enjoying this scrumptious meal.
But what happens the next day in the garbage or three days later in the fridge? That fish that was so delicious now stinks like crazy! And how could baked beans now smell so awful?!
God created things to be repulsive later so we wouldn't become sick or ill if we were tempted to eat them.
It's another one of the ways God designed us for our protection. Isn't that cool?

@1creekgirl I never looked at it that way. It's true though. You won't each something if it doesn't smell good to you.
