Think About It and Your Hair Will Fall Out - (or how I saved twenty bucks this morning) A tragic shooting this morning up at the shopping place at the corner of Weslayan and Bissonnett over close to University Place on the Southwest side of Houston, Texas. Some crazy guy shooting up the place with some repeater rifles. From what was on the newswire, he put lots of hot lead into a half dozen or more innocent people. Then the cops got him. He is not going to shoot any more innocents henceforth. Just so happens that my hair-growing bride did not have the locale of the shootings register up there under her lovely locks. When I navigated my still sleeping body out to where she was sitting, she announced to me that we were to head for the hairdresser place so that she could avail herself of the services of her good buddy, the haircut lady. It was right in front of the "SuperCuts" in that shopping center that the crazy guy was doing his shooting, badly aimed as it was. I mentioned this tidbit of info to my bride of the curly locks. She got a bit worked up over the idea that she might have been one of the lead collectors this morning. I suggested that she allow nature and anxiety to take the place of a haircut. "When you get to really worrying about what might have happened to you in front of "SuperCuts," you might be able to save lots of haircut money. Your hair will simply fall out on its own." * * * * * * * * * * Image source: Pixabay dot com * * * * * * * * * *

Or go white overnight, if it hangs in there long enough!

@pgntwo - Friend PGN - They had that shooting spree deal blanketing the telly news this evening - all about how some of the neighbor folks hid from the bullets by jumping into their bathtubs and others talking about how bullets went whistling over their frightened heads. Right down the road from the scene is where a friend and I often go for lunch. Too :close to home: for me. -Gus-

@Ceerios Ah, yes - it's always somewhere else on the news... Until it isn't, that is... Close call, narrow escape.
