Jessica started shrinking
A little bit every day.
At first she was 5 foot 4,
And then shrunk to 6 inches by May.
No one knows how this happened.
No one has a clue.
And as she shrunk in size,
Her face turned a bright colored blue.
Jessica was unhappy.
Mother and father were alarmed.
How could this be happening?
Was it some cursed charm?
When will the shrinking stop?
Jessica wanted to know.
Her evil brother shook his head and said,
"Jessica, just go with the flow."
"You'll be famous and rich.
I promise you.
Your name will be heard far and wide.
But please remember Jessica,
Never run and hide."
"You might be stepped on by accident.
You might meet a spider or two.
Worst of all dear Jessica,
You might be stuck on my shoe."
"I'll take good care of you, Jessica.
Mom and dad will as well.
Please don't shrink any further.
The next stop is straight to hell."
