I had a lot of fun doing my recent series on my favorite sitcom characters, so I thought I'd stay in TV territory with a new series, my Favorite Cartoons. Starting at #10, we have Freakazoid!. Freakazoid (Paul Rugg) is a geeky teenager named Dexter Douglas, who got his superpowers from a computer chip. Freakazoid is fast, strong, and agile. Oh, as Wikipedia puts it, he's also manic and insane. Freakazoid! featured an impressive roster of voice talent, including Ed Asner, Craig Ferguson, Ricardo Montalban, Bebe Neuwirth, and Tim Curry. For one thing, it was on The WB, which nobody watched. It was a very funny cartoon, however.

I missed this one. Not to be confused with Dexter's Laboratory.
