Life without Wife or Husband !

There is a notion in some religions that one must get a partner to live a happy and healthy. If we live alone, we are left alone in the old age. In old age when we need a partner to survive, we will be alone and bored. Stress due to living alone may curtail our life span too. So, I am of this opinion, one must have company to live in this World.

Although having a partner to spend your life with is truly a blessing, there are people in this world who genuinely don't want a partner. Maybe they even would like to dedicate their lives to some other form of comfort such as charity work etc... Also, when people get older, they still can have the company of their friends and family. Life was meant to find happiness within ones self, not trying to gain happiness from others.

I don't believe we need a partner only in old age.....I need my husband today, I needed him yesterday n shall keep needing him always......
Share your life with a person capable if doing it and den life will always be full of roses...
I agree every relationship comes with a responsibility but all d live n affection pays for it anyhow

Well some people believe it or not don't want a partner they rather be independent. Some women who are single moms that were left by their boyfriends/husbands become angry and don't want a partner anymore because they feel they will be left again so they just stay single and alone. I mean you don't need a partner to survive it's great to have one but we can survive alone.

I'm happy to be spending my life with my husband. I don't think I'd want to be alone as I get older. I like company sometimes.

Relationship should be strong. Should be loving, caring n sharing....not just to keep away your loneliness or not because you need someone to help you when you are old..if you need that you can go to an elder home when you become old.
