First, my desktop died last week. I've been having trouble with my laptop, but at least it is still working at the moment.
However... well, we'll have to see.
Meanwhile, my geek is trying to get the desktop back, with a new hard drive.
The other problem is that the roomie went in to have the dialysis tube put into her stomach this morning. We got up at 4:30. Got to the hospital early, that's the way both of us prefer things, learned from our parents. Of course, that meant that we were waiting even more time.
I fell asleep for a few minutes until a nurse came in just to check things. Darn, and I was sleeping good.
Shortly before they took her back, I went to find the cafeteria, because I could tell my blood sugar was dropping and that's never a good thing. Not a giant selection, just a tiny cafeteria, but adequate.
I got a big chunk of my book read, cute book too, but I guess I didn't need to drag along my portable DVD player...
We were driving home about 5 hours after going to the hospital. Stopped and dropped of the pain meds script and picked up some limeades at Sonic.
Got to talk to the manager at Sonic, he's going to special order the mint flavor for me. I told him that it was kind of like having a mojito. He agreed it would be. I told him I called them "Faux Mo's," he LOVED the name.
