I went out this morning to find a Singaporean national costume for my little niece. They are going to have a United Nation affair on the 4th week of October. We can’t find a ready-made costume among all the shops in the city. Then, we take the time to ask a tailor shop for possible renting a national costume. It is also the same thing.
We had started to ask for availing a tailor’s service. The only thing that stands out in regards to tailor’s scheme is “rent to order”. It simply means that we are going to ask the tailor to do the national costume, but we need to bring it back as a rental. Wow! What kind of service is this? I am going to pay for the national costume and rented at the same time. I had to call it a day of looking for my errand today. I felt so frustrated and possible of being cheated by a tailor.
