#8 in my Favorite Cartoons series is a good, if not surreal, one: Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force was centered around four main characters, the main three being fast food items: Master Shake, a lying schemer, Frylock, an order of fries, and Meatwad, a simple, none too bright wad of meat that can change into various shapes, and their human neighbor Carl, a sports and sex fanatic. The show was part of the Cartoon Network's late night lineup, Adult Swim.
The trio made their debut on that channel's Space Ghost Coast to Coast. They were crime fighters at first, but soon morphed into a more "normal" lifestyle.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force ran for 139 episodes, from 2000 to 2015. It was the first (according to Wikipedia) Cartoon Network show to become a movie, Aqua Teen Hunger Force Colon Movie Film For Theaters.
It made for great late night TV, especially if you were buzzed. I got some great laughs from the show, especially from the Carl scenes.
