Cat hair

I love my cats, but pulling cat hair outta my mouth isn't one of the things I love about them. I wake up some mornings with my lips kind of glued together and when I get the stuff off them, there is almost always a cat hair or two involved. I was drinking my coffee this morning, and suddenly I'm having to pull a cat hair out of my mouth. Yeah, I love my brat-cats, but sometimes I'd like to shave them!

Do your cats sleep in the bed with you? That can't be very pleasant having their hair in your mouth.

yeah, my cats sleep in my bed, but most of the time when it actually ends up in my mouth its when I'm eating not sleeping - its on my lips when I wake up sometimes

I have no problem with their fur on my clothes, but in my mouth is another matter. I don't like MY hair in my mouth for that matter!

@shshiju I am allergic, but I went through desenstizing, and don't have too much of a problem.

@ElicBxn That's good. Some persons have allergy problem with hairs.

they eat it all the time, throw it up most of that time, but its just hair... I guess if the cats are sick and have some poop on it, but most cats are cleaner than that

Cat hair can be a problem that's for sure. We have a couple of cats here that shed like crazy, and we try to brush them whenever they let us. We also have a dog that sheds like crazy too. He also gets brushed when he's in shedding mode. These days I can't tell what type of fur I pull out of my mouth, dog or cat.

All 3 of our dogs are short haired, so they aren't big shedders, but the cats are another matter, even though we only have 1 long haired cat now, there are so many short haired cats...
