Do you have a nosey neighbor? We do. We have a nosey neighbor both here where we live now and one in our other house. I just do not understand why we seem to attract this type of person.
his morning we went to our house in Inverness to do a little work. My husband mowing and me cleaning up a bit. As soon as we drove into the driveway the neighbor came out their front door and raced over.
The questions began fast and furious. I left my husband outside with it and walked into the house.
We came home a little bit and our neighbor here was sitting in the front yard swing. Again the questions and comments came out in a rush. I walked in the house.
They want to know where you have been, what were you doing, what are you going to be doing now, and on and on and on.
I would love this to stop but weather we answer politely, tell them to mind their own business, or ignore them they will not go away.

I live in an apartment building and the neighbours are terrible. They are always complaining to the landlord about everything. They talk to you when you go out side asking all kinds of questions and acting like they like us and then they stab us in the back. We try not to bother too much with neighbours. Seems everybody that moves in is the same way.

@Happy2BeMe you find them everywhere, I just don't like the idea of them being next door.

@HazySue I know some people are just like that. They want to know everything that is going on. They are also the people who like to gossip and spread rumors and make up stories when they don't know what the real story is.

Our neighbor is far enough away that won't happen here...plus we have a fence and gate so it deters people. Things are different in the country.

they'd drive me a tad nuts i fear. then 'gain, perhaps their lives 're so dull they ask such'n hopes they can get the thrills 'f yer day through yer tales? 'round here the only time ya see a neighbor 'n 'em speak to ya 's if'n they wish somethin'. like to borrow a trailer...'r ask if'n i've seen their pup/horse that's escaped.

Everyone cannot be the same, don't make them to spoil your day but in turn spoil theirs by answering to their questions with a smile. Take care and have a nice day

OH WOW that sounds just as annoying as the bs I have to put up with from the neighbors upstairs. I don't understand some people seems like some don't have any common sense at all and don't know to pick up on hints.

I might confuse them.
I might just try it.
