Have any of you heard about a rare black moon that will show up? According to the news it will make its appearance on "Friday 30 September at 8.11pm EST (5.11pm PST) in the Western Hemisphere. For those in the Eastern Hemisphere (Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australasia) on the other side of the globe, the black Moon will arrive for Halloween on October 30, or October 31 for the eastern-most regions" What do you think? Will you look out your windows to see it?

Every time there is a significant event happening in the sky, it is usually raining or cloudy and I don't get to see it. I did see the Hale-Bop comet back in the 90s but most, I miss. What exactly is a black moon anyway?

@JolietJake Okay, does that mean it is not really black? It is funny. I don't remember ever hearing about a black moon before this.
