To drive OR To commute ??

In this day and age in more countries driving and owning a car is turning into a necessity. here the Philippines the traffics a killer so even if just supposed to be a short drive it'll take you ages. So to save gas and money some just choose to use public transportation , which sometimes means you sacrifice comfort.. specially during rush hour.. so guys what are your thoughts??
