Every morning before sunup I take a walk through the playground with the mango, jack fruit, grape fruit, guava and many other trees around me, all the while listening to the bird songs. I thank God for the trees and the birds. I thank Him for the cool pleasing air and the flowers in our garden. I come back home energized with nature and the presence of God.

I'm thankful every day that God made us such a beautiful world to enjoy. We have more varieties of plants than the imagination of man could have come up with, let alone create from nothing. We have beautiful birds that sing to keep us awake and to help us fall asleep. We have animal companions who give us friendship, protection, and even eggs and milk if we give back to them. We have animals like the platypus that make us laugh, as do the young of almost every mammal. We have and endless variety of colors to enjoy. And we have sunrise and sunsets and clouds and trees, and so much more. God could have made the world drab and boring. But instead He made a world he could enjoy and share with us.

That is why in some religions Nature is worshipped as God.
