Mike Axisa reports the news on Saturday the New York Mets who clinched the top National League Wild Card slot by beating the Philadelphia Phillies by a final score of 5-3 have announced that their ace right handed pitcher Noah Snydergaard will pitch in the one game National league Wild Card Playoff Game on Wednesday in New York City. The Mets who entered the 2016 Majjor League Baseball season as the defending National League Champions will be facing either the San Francisco Giants or the St. Louis Cardinals. If the Mets beat either the Cardinals or Giants in the one game playoff on Wednesday they will be facing the Chicago Cubs starting on Friday at Wrigley Field in Chicago Illinois in a best of five series in the National League Division Series.

That's a no brainer. But I don't see the Mets going far without Matz and deGrom.

You are correct since Snydergaard can only do some much.
