He woke up with a croup

My poor little man! He just woke up a few minutes before 1am and started to cough. The cough that no parent likes to hear a seal like cough that you think your poor child won't get enough air to there lungs. I felt that slight panic of oh no again he has this cough he has the croup. He is sick! Don't worry we knew what to do. My husband rushed to find the nebulizer and the steroids for it. I went and got the cold water need to help smooth his cough. The steroid is off course to help open his air way back up. Now we have been sitting here for 20 minutes he has stopped coughing breathing retuned to normal. No to make the bed room cold enough so he can sleep without waking. We will look at him in the morning and see if we need to go to the doctor. I don't think we will have to go not like they can give anything for a virus. It should pass in a day or two.
