Yesterday I left my phone in restaurant after having dinner.. its only after 10 mins after leaving the place I realized that i missed my phone. I rushed back to the restaurant hoping i will get back my mobile. But found that it was taken by someone else who had dinner on the same table. The guy who took it ran away leaving the food half-eaten .. also he didnt pay his bills.. I tried to ring my mobile.. but it was not reachable. I got very upset... but my driver and waiter in the hotel were very supportive and we were sure that the one who ate in the same table was culprit .. and we have decided to lodge a complaint on him.. suddenly the same guy came from nowhere.. and started shouting at me for my carelessness of leaving the mobile phone on table itself.. and he narrated a big story as someone else ran off with my mobile and he chased him for me and brought back the mobile for me.. as though he did big favor for me... It was very evident from his reaction that he only took the mobile.. but as he gave back.. i didnt want to create more noise .. so took the phone and left the place thanking every one.. Later only i realized that the SIM card was missing... probably he might have thrown it away... Guess he came back because of the fear of police intervention. Anyway I got my mobile back .. need to get SIM card soon. We all need to be more cautious and check all our belongings before leaving the public place. Wanted to share this incident to enable more caution in everyone of us.

Thank goodness you got your phone. When I was reading your story I thought the guy would get away with it. Some people are so cruel taking others belongings. If it were me I'd take the phone and call any numbers the person calls and try to find out who they are so I can return it. one time someone lost their wallet and it had money, ID's and their addresses. I drove to their address and returned it to them and they rewarded me with $50.

@Judy890 You really seem to be a nice person, very rare to see now a days... appreciate you... If everybody is like you.. life will be peaceful.. I too thought of rewarding him.. but clearly he was the culprit.. so i just left him without creating more trouble for him
