Ok, I'm not talking about te food prepared at home, I'm referring to eateries outside. YES, even so called high-end restaurants and cafes or coffee houses for all that matters..... So some of you might know I got a job at a coffee house, I won't mention the name though. I hardly go to these places anyway but they were so under staff I had to be everywhere including the kitchen and yeah....sometimes you just don't want to see. I mean I know I can be very meticulous and particular but the cloth you wipe the counter top although already washing it with boiling water...I mean how can you just use it to wipe off the crumbs stuck to the plastic base of a cake plus other stuff which I'm not even going to mention

I used to work in an office which had a restaurant next door. One of my co-workers used to be one of the waiting staff in there. They told me that leftover food from customers plates was then served up to others. They also said that a cook had thrown a pepper in the garbage and then realised that they could cut a bit more off it so they fished it out and did just that. The place is still owned by the same people and a relative of mine has become a big fan of it. I haven't got the heart to tell him what I know.

@asfarasiknow yeah, I surrender. Yesterday was like....this cloth stinks!~ Are you crazy to ask me to smell to see which to pick to wipe the cutleries
Frankly one smells like oil gone bad; the other...how should I put it.....the cockroaches used it as their cosy blanket?

yes. I agree.Once you peep into a kitchen of any restaurant or a Hotel , both big and small you won't feel like eating your food. This is a real experience which everybody should accept.
