My grandfather getting to a century / myLot

My grandfather had his birthday today hitting 100 years old. He has had a wonderful life. He got married when he was 20 years old and never looked back. He built a 6 storey house with his bare hands. He worked from Dawn to dusk. He sells chickens at a local market and works in the garden and in a small store he owns. His attitude is amazing and really inspirational. His son died 5 years ago and his wife is still alive and is 1 week from reaching the century mark. Anyway thought I would write this post as a tribute for him reaching the century mark. This is for you grandfather. Hopefully he can live for a few more years. Thanks everyone for your likes and comments and enjoy your day.

Wow, can you share with us their secret of living that long ? Are they still mobile and can still see and hear ?

Yes he's still as fit as he was when he was 20. I think his secret is to keep working hard and keeping active. As I mentioned he worked from Dawn to dusk and pretty much only came home to sleep.

@IlijaMarkovski i think i agree to that . When a person stops working , he starts deteriorating also , because of sedentary life . Sad but it is true , because having a sedentary life gives us lots of sickness and makes us weak .

@SIMPLYD yeah the only issue we have is if he oveedoes it in the sense if he pushes his body too hard. He is the kind of person who will work until he drops.
