Pause on off page techniques

hey everyone, I am doing so much hard work fro last 2 months on off page techniques , but they helped me in the beginning but now not helping me at all. so I have taken break from doing those things and now my focus is on creating awareness of my sites on social medias like fb, twitter, google+, tumbler, pinterest, myspace, stumble upon. I know it will not help in getting links not it will definitely help in building traffic to my sites...all the best to me
