Pictures on the Wall

October 5, 2016 5:17am CST
On the buffet and on the wall of my house display the photos of people whom I delight a cherished place in my heart. They bring memories of wonderful thoughts of them, and have profound influence on the direction my life. My family's photos, we're nine of us, plus three grandchildren. The photos and memories of my hero Dad whom I had not seen in 15 years until his funeral in 2014. He lived overseas with my Mom, my brothers and sisters. As I finish this post, feelings of sadness embody this short journal. Do you have photos hanging on your wall, or photos sitting on your mantle table? I'd love to hear about it. Thanks!

Yes. You see how our little ones grow and change into the person they are. And we love them so.

Yes, they do. Sometimes when a child is away from home, you feel the deep sadness and longing for his/her coming back home.

I have something quite similar in my main lounge of all my children and grandchildren. I love to display my family all over the house, on sideboards, on coffee tables, just everywhere.

I imagine that your home looks like a very warm, happy and cozy place for family gatherings by how you've described it.

I have photos of my parents, my sister, our four daughters and our seven grandchildren all over our house. They are a constant reminder of how fortunate we are to have such a large, wonderful family.
