Hurricane Matthew Bears Down

Yet another hurricane is on the way to South Carolina where my daughter-in-law lives. On the news it showed they had closed down the inbound lanes of the highway so people could use all the lanes to leave the area, and there was a ton of traffic leaving. My daughter-in-law said her mom met her in Atlanta so they are coming this way. She said she will come visit while she is in town so I'm looking forward to that.

We did, thanks. She is going back there today. I told her to check and make sure the electricity is on in there area and watch out for fallen trees and flooded roads. Her area didn't get hit as hard but she has to drive through some other ones to get home.

People are leaving there in droves. The stores have empty shelves as people are preparing so hopefully nobody will be foolish enough to try and ride it out.

She posted this morning that she is in town so I know she will be safe. The people in FL are getting the brunt of the storm today but it will make landfalll in SC tomorrow. It is dangerous.
