I accepted to teach a boy at his home / myLot

I accepted to teach a boy of standard 7 at his home for INR 1500 (about $24) a month . I'll help the boy with English, History, Geography, Civics and Computer. This is not much but it will suffice for my internet and cellphone recharges. Some tutors earn enough to live on by home tuition or coaching. Share your experience.

Yes it's good. Here at my place home tuitions are going on and they are earning good income from the comfort of their homes.

You are right. A mathematics tutor friend earns thousands, almost like a regular job in any office.

@franxav,Yes,home tution is a good,respectable source of income.Two years back I had taught a boy who was in class 10.It was a nice experience.

@franxav The same happened with me.The boy's mom requested me to teach her son Hindi and maths.Fortunately the boy took interest in learning.He has got a first division and the credit goes to him.

@else34 Actually, from class 9 to 12 is my favorite range. The boy's parents made an earnest request to me to help the boy and I couldn't refuse it.
