The Silent Treatment

Have you ever faced the silent treatment? No one talks to you, and you don't know why. It can quite unnerving. You wonder if it is something that you said or perhaps the way you look. It is an uncomfortable feeling. Trying to break the silent treatment can be difficult, but may be necessary to open up lines of communication. What are your thoughts on this?

That sounds like something only a wife, a daughter, a female colleague or a female boss will do. Guys do not give the silent treatment. They will treat you to a speech full of "%^#@"

It would be more prevalent from a woman than from a guy.

It happened sometimes when I was a child and I was much too hurt. I learned how to deal with it. I stay away from those people. They are insane.

The silent treatment drives people crazy. They can't stand being ignored and looked through.

Whenever there is silent treatment, I will start to reflect and think if I had done something wrong....
