Doomsday II: The Black Hole

As you recall, my first Doomsday incident (10/1) would be an asteroid hit. Last nights History show was about a Black Hole. Back in 1916, Albert Einstein stated that there were black holes in space but it wasn't until 1971 that the first black hole was seen by scientists.
Black holes are formed when stars crash into each other. Black holes are 1 billion times more powerful than the sun and have the strongest gravitational pull and there are 100 million black holes in our galaxy. Nothing can alter the path of a black hole.
Within 24 hours of the approach of the black hole, global warming would begin and places like New York would see 110 degree temperatures (even at Christmas time) and Gravitational Lensing would be the first visual signs as comets and asteroids would collide with other planets and the moon would be disintegrated.
Asteroids would start to hit the Earth and send shock waves after the hits and a Photon Sphere (red and green lights) would appear all over the planet. Within 4 hours, Earth would be crossing into the Event Horizon (rim of the black hole) creating a blinding bright light.
Gravity on one side of the planet would be stronger than on the other side; pulling the Earth apart causing earthquakes, massive flooding from collapsed dams causing ocean levels to rise and massive waves. Coastlines would be devastated and there would be no water at all in some areas.
20 minutes after entering the Black Hole, volcanic eruptions would cause explosions from underground and as gravity left Earth, air would be sucked towards the black hole suffocating people. Even those in the Cheyenne Mountain military base in Colorado; which is 2,000 feet below ground would have a limited oxygen supply for a short time.
Within 30 minutes, all are dead and everything buckles from the gravitational pressure and everything would be dissected causing Spaghettification; nothing would remain.
Einstein predicted a possible escape to another parallel universe IF the Earth were to only hit the outer rim of the Black Hole. One thing is for sure; a Black Hole would be one very quick event.

This is something beyond our control, might as well wait and face the reality of doom, unlike the asteroid collision

@nanette64 fast is better but guess there would still be a time duration where we wouid be informed that we are headed for that black hole

It would certainly be a very fast event @louievill .

@louievill With the Black Hole traveling at 1 million miles an hour, we probably wouldn't know it until the first sign (the Gravitational Lensing).

@nanette64 Yes it would be and no one would suffer.

@jstory07 Considering this is only the second Doomsday show, I can't imagine what the other 8 are going to be like.

You've mentioned few sourses from where you got to know the knowledge..is it completely predictions by the scientists?
Or some are even your thoughts or view?

Astrophysicist Greg Laughlin and Paleontologist Trevor Valle were the main scientists for the show @RitzzView. My opinion is that since the universe is so vast, a Black Hole is very likely.

@nanette64 So you saying that black hole is likely to be vast as well!..? Right?

@RitzzView Yes. Since our telescopes only see so far into the universe and there are many universes; even our satellite's that are enroute to other planets may take awhile to spot a black hole. But with a black hole travelling at 1 million miles per hour, it could enter our planetary area quickly.

Nostradamus was more concerned with future scientists causing a black hole within the Earth @jennyjoy by creating a particle collision machine. As a matter of fact, one was built in the 1980's on the France/Switzerland border. It is called the Hadron Collider.

@jennyjoy It was shut down for awhile because it was causing earthquakes, but it's back up and running.

@nanette64 Hadron Collider sounds far worse than the nuclear weapon.Has it been dismantled/ disarmed?
