For non-believers, why do you say there is no God?
I'm really curious, tell me.

Well, I'm a Taoist and we don't necessarily believe in a god. I kind of believe there's a god, but on the other hand I have some very religious friends and god doesn't answer their prayers! Another thing I'm skeptical about is how do people give lots of the credit for the amazing things they do, to god? Didn't they do it?

yes, they do it, but still they believe there's someone permitting things to happen. i must say 'we' coz i am one of the God-believers. that's also because we tend to believe in luck (which is somehow related to God's will), something humans have no control of no matter how they exert their best efforts. we believe in "do your best, and He will do the rest".

umm, let's say, he's like santa claus, he gives you what you deserve, lol! (sometimes with some extra and some surprises).

Interesting, so I guess naturally my next question is do you know that he is actually doing the rest or is it just that god fills in the gaps for the unexplainables that happen to you?

For me this is the reason. I need to see it to beleive it. Also there are many different religions and they all feel they are right. They can't all be right can they?

oh, like the doubting Thomas :)
about religions, there's a lot of them with different beliefs and practices, but they all have but one God, just different names.
