How do you deal with people who get a big mouth and love to spread out something is not true about you ?

It used to bother me a lot but eventually i don't care. The more you explain the more you will be drag into the slander. If i am rich and famous, i will proceed to sue the person.

There was a guy that where I sell comes in there and tells me to read a certain type of book in a loud voice. He has a hearing problem but could lower his voice.. I just ignore him. When I first moved here there was a lady that lived upstairs and one day instead of speaking Hebrew to me someone spoke English. I asked him what was going on and he started to say something and then I told him to continue to speak Hebrew. The lady that lived upstairs spread around that I wanted to speak English and not Hebrew. She was wrong and I was very happy when she moved. Her children broke two horns of mine and I brought soimething up to her and she told me. and I asked for the money. I do not know what she said to her husband but he stopped talking to me after that. She probably lied. I am very glad they are gone and she could not control her kids.

If she does something like that to me , i will confront her . I won't let anyone say something that is not true of me or something that can tarnish my reputation .

I would ignore them. Eventually everyone will know what that person is sprouting isn't true.

Two things. You can just ignore them since you know what is the truth anyway. Or you can also confront him/her calmly and just Tell the person that what he is doing is not right.
