I have been seeing a lot of photos, videos and memes about this Murderous Clown fad trending in Facebook.
Are there really people going around dressed up like scary-blood-thirsty-looking clowns going around scaring people? Is this because Halloween is just around the corner?
Who and where did this start? Have you seen one yourself?

@jrlcentral I am not too sure. The sightings were so frequent if you search on youtube there are lots of videos on it.
But i saw someone wrote on mylot that the Professional Clowns there are not too happy about all these and is going on petition somewhere in US. Heard about 100 clowns would turn up...

@Hatley If it's just a hoax then it's good. Clowns are supposed to be funny, not scary. However. hoax or not, with all these posts on Facebook and youtube, I think it's hurting the livelihood of professional clowns.
