She Only Got 25 Years!!!

I guess her sentence for killing her child was a plea bargain and so therefore, she only gets 25 years in prison. She killed her 23 month old child!!! 
How could anyone kill their own child? As a parent you're there to protect your child from any harm! When I heard this on the radio, I thought it had to be some kind of mistake, that I had heard it wrong, but no..it's true and reality!!!
I read another article that apparently the mother was being through the welfare system of abuse on her child before she killed him. It is so sad, that even when the welfare system gets involved that a child still dies!!!

She must be mentally ill. And for me prison is not to be seen as a punishment, but as a way to protect others from her.

This happens far too often but I can't believe that she is not in jail for life for killing her child. She won't even serve the whole 25 years will she? I am not sure how it works there. Here they only have serve a third and then they are eligible for parole.

That is so sad. There is little value for human life these days, whether before or after a baby is born. Since it's okay to kill a baby in the womb, it won't be long before it's okay to kill us old folks who are a burden. Or maybe the disabled who aren't the beautiful people.
Think about this. It's not a new idea.
