Have you heard of the new early pregnancy gender test? It can be taken at 5 weeks of pregnancy. Gender is determined by DNA in a blood test and is supposed to be 99% accurate.
There is a debate about this test. Some people are fearful that knowing the gender this early will cause people to abort and there will be a tendency toward gender selection. What do you think?

Who's blood is tested? Fetal blood and maternal blood never normally mix. Amniocentisis and chorionic biopsy are the ways to tell if a preborn child is male or female that I know of...I'll do alittle research and get back to you. There is already a tendency toward gender selection and elective abortion due to gender...these practices are not new.
