What do all these things have in common? They are what I've been up to recently.
I went to see a local band that plays 50s music on Thursday. It was fun, I hadn't been there in a long time. I know some of the musicians since some of them work in a music store I like to go to. I feel so awkward around this one in particular and I suppose it's due to the fact that I feel like I haven't out grown that teen age awkwardness. I got to dance with my friends, and even though I was tired I was happy that I made myself go.
Friday one of my friends from dance troupe and I got together and sewed rather she sewed and I did small amounts of helping. We are making dresses for dance. So far I'm happy with how mine is turning out. I really wanted to go to the bar later, I don't drink much but a band I know was playing, however the "tiredness" won out, I was too cold, achy and tired to mess with going out, so I climbed in bed and watched "Once Upon a Time".
Saturday I took several long walks and a friend and I went to a themed nightclub. I really like this place however this is not the sort of place I would drive to or go alone. My friend is busier than I am and we only go once, maybe twice a year. Another friend of mine met us there it was really special, of course this, being someone I am really attracted to. At times I felt like an awkward teen.
Sunday my parents and went to car race track -- it was nice if not a little chilly and we saw our family friends there. We came back to town and ate at a restaurant that we really like.
Today was dance rehearsal, tomorrow is a new dance class Wednesday will be the free game of bingo that is played at a local bar, Thursday and Friday my mom as more medical appointments and then we are at the weekend. This coming weekend I have no plans for the first time in a long time

I do love being busy, though sometimes I like to stay home, too. As long as "Once" isn't doing the "everyone looses memory" thing again, lol

Oh that makes me feel so much better, someone else "gets" the awkward thing

I saw the latest episode too yesterday...of Once Upon A Time...though it seems to be going in some random direction now.
