Another Wise Saying I Found Today

I really enjoy reading small "words of wisdom" that other people have said. Again I don't know who originally said these words, but they make a lot of sense to me. When I find things like this, I always try to make note of them and jot them down. “Yesterday is history Tomorrow is a mystery Today is a gift.” That’s why they call it the “present.” Does anyone know who originally wrote this?

"William Aloysius Keane or Bil Keane was an American cartoonist know for his newspaper cartoons The Family Circus out of the 60's." I wonder if he actually first coined the phrase.

I have two different answers now. I wonder who really said it first. Whoever it was, was very clever.

@Bluedoll I wonder who "coined" it first also. Maybe I can find out online. I shall look and see.

@IreneVincent I think I created it because I wrote it into a message board back in the early days and then began seeing it around the internet some years later. It is possible but then again there are lot of chatty people in the world. "no money, no funny"

Yes, it's nice to have a few "words of wisdom" to keep in mind as we go through life. Life is precious and we need to use our lives wisely.
