I went to rabbit farm with my family last Saturday. This is the first time we visit this rabbit farm which is located in Broga, Malaysia. It is a small farm. It has many rabbits, a bull, cows, sheep, goats, horses, deers, monkeys and a pony. I bought some carrots for my children to feed the animals. Maybe we were late to the farm. Most of the rabbits were fed and they were not hungry. So, they didn't want to eat the carrots which my children gave them. My daughter was sad because of the rabbits didn't eat the carrots. So, I asked them to feed the deers and sheep. Oh! they were hungry and they ate all the carrots in just a few minutes. My children were very happy to see this. We spent three hours in the farm. It is really a nice farm for the children. The photo was taken when my children were playing with the rabbits.

I bred rabbits during 3 years and I can tell you that they are shy : it is normal to not have eaten a carrot offered by a stranger, it does not mean that they were not hungry. I am pleased that your children had fun in this farm : many children here have never visited a farm.

Thanks for sharing your experience. I think my children will learn more if we often visit the farm.

Children love such farms, and we as parents must take them to such places regularly. This can help them understand the nature closely.

Yes, it is good to bring children to go to these farms. It is lots of fun. I wonder whether your children asked you buy a rabbit My son told me that his friend bought a chicken or rabit after the travel arranged by school. I think his parents didn't expect it at all and it might drive them crazy to have an unexpected animal at home

Nope. My children don't ask to buy a rabbit to them. Actually I am planning to adopt one rabbit for them. But, I think they are not ready to take care of a pet. Maybe I will adopt one next year.

The farm only provides carrots for the visitors to feed the animals. My children are 7 and 4.
