black eyed peas

Black Eyed Peas.

Here in Scotland I don't think that the weather is right for growing Black Eyed Peas. Can anyone tell me if they have ever sampled them before. I think one of the varieties I saw listed was William. I have phoned all the major fruit and bed stockists here to no avail. If any UK member could obtain some I wonder if you Could meet my halfway in order for me to pick them up. Might take a while though as my old Fergie tractor has seen better days

Is it summer in your place? I think peas like some sunshine to grow well. (I though it's the BLack Eyed Peas, the band).
