Between @FourWalls and myself, both of us doing series' about "Girl" songs, we'll cover 20 songs. We haven't matched yet. We're at #5 in my series, "Who's that Girl?" by Eurythmics.
The duo of Annie Lennox (vocals) and multi-instrumentalist Dave Stewart were Eurythmics, forming in London in 1980. They are a Grammy winner, are in the UK Music Hall of Fame, and according to Wikipedia, have sold over 75 million records worldwide.
From 1983's Platinum album Touch, "Who's that Girl?" might be best remembered for it's video, in which Lennox plays both a male and female role. The song was Top 5 in the UK and reached #21 on the Billboard Hot 100.
I've linked to the video. Enjoy!
