Abortion

In general I do not approve of abortions as a method of birth control. However I did have to have 2 abortions due to medical issues. I believe if the mother and or the babies life is in danger then I can understand having an abortion. It is not the most pleasant thing to have to do but, but sometimes it needs to be.
People should live morally correct, but there are some that don't. I remember when abortion was legal woman and girls were performing abortions on themselves or performed by someone else with a coat hanger. Then many of those woman or girls would die from bleeding or getting a severe infection.
That is why I do not believe that abortions should be made illegal! Not that they are morally correct, but......

My mom actually aborted me. She was taking abortion pills to get rid of me but I managed to hang in there.

Abortions should not be a method of birth control. There are other methods to prevent pregnancy if the couple is not wanting a child.
I believe it depends on the situation.
For instances - what if someone was raped or forced by a stranger and got pregnant? Granted a child was made, and without consent. The lady, women, girl should have her right.

I would never have an abortion. I understand that some people do have to have an abortion for a medical reason. I got pregnant in 2006 and I found out at 36 weeks pregnancy my baby is disabled. I went ahead with a home birth and it was a lovely experience. It was a quick and easy birth. My son went to the special care baby unit in hospital. He had a back operation and a head operation. He came home at 3 weeks old.

I totally agree with you that abortion should never be a method of birth control. Not just that it is morally wrong, also it's not medically good for your body.
And yes, abortions should be legal and safe, if you don't want the baby for any reason, it should not be forced on you.

Yes...even I had a abortion 2months back due to some medical issues....it was painful and traumatic both mentally and physically..... I dont want to face it again ever...

Abortion is not a birth control method. Its a crime as I think... But if mothers or babys life in danger its acceptable... Also if someone get prwgnant due to rape case or something like that...then also abortion is acceptable
