Cooking lunch. How about you?

I am cooking some lunch. I am making a potato and meat stew. Firstly i am peeling the potatoes and cutting up the beef. I am now putting them in a pot and putting them on the stove and peeling and cutting some carrots and onions and putting them into the pot together with the potatoes and beef. All i do now is wait for it to cook and enjoy with a nice mixed salad and chillies. What do you like cooking? Do you like cooking or dislike it? Is there any foods from a certain culture you like cooking?

@MGjhaud well the most important thing is if the food tastes good.

I love beef stew with potatoes, carrots, and red bell pepper. I don't cook. It has never been my interest.

@rina110383 It doesn't attract everyone, as long as you enjoy the food, that's the main thing. Who cooks for you?

@IlijaMarkovski I buy my meals outside. In my place, we have a canteen downstairs. Here in the firm, we have a pantry.

That sounds really good! I might just have to make a batch of stew tomorrow night with the steak I found in the markdown section this afternoon. Our mainstays seem to be soups and stews... between my husband and me, we have quite a few recipes for them that we make fairly often. I do a lot of pasta-based dishes, too. I wouldn't say that we lean more towards one particular culture, but if it's hearty and filling we'll give it a shot.

@yukimori Yes i would recommend it to everyone, really good and doesn't take that long to cook. Pasta dishes are definitely delicious as well, and again not long to make. What pasta-based dishes do you like cooking and eating?

I don't like cooking, not because I'm lazy but since I was a kid, when my mom passed away, my family usually buy some food for a day. So I never cook my lunch untill now.
