Ice cream in your coffee? (or tea)

I was having a cup of tea in the teachers' room today and a colleague came in, opened the freezer and pulled out the huge vat of ice cream that was left over from our back-to-school dinner. (We have been eating at it gradually for the past month. It's delicious, but frozen so hard that it takes time to dig any out.) He was putting some in his coffee cup. I said, "Oh, are you going to put that in your coffee?" He said, "Well, I wasn't, but that sounds really good."
I then put a spoonful in my tea. It was really good; it cooled down the tea enough that I could drink it and provided a very creamy milk tea.
I think I might try that trick again. At least until our ice cream supply runs out.
What do you think of ice cream in your coffee or tea?

@petatonicsca i love white chocolate (next to dark). yeah, strawberry and green tea might not work. hahaha! nescafe here has a berry mocha instant coffee and coco mocha, both 3-in-1 sachets.

It was Ben and Jerry's "Baked Alaska" which is pretty much vanilla ice cream with chunks of white chocolate in it. Perfect for putting in coffee or tea. I don't think strawberry would work too well.

I would definitely put it in my coffee as it would be soooo creamy...a bit like a cappuccino. .. but I would not put it in my tea...
