Baby Shower -- The Diaper Cake

This is the first shower for any of my children that there has been a diaper cake. Liz, my oldest, started buying diapers for it pretty much as soon as she heard that Jasmine was pregnant. She started looking at how much it would cost for the embellishments. She started looking on pinterest, and watching how to videos on youtube. She didn't end up buying anything for it other than the cardboards that you use in real tiered cakes. She didn't buy the sets of things to decorate it with. Instead she bought the lacey type stuff that she wrapped it with. Then, she bought a $1 set of Winnie the Pooh children's game cards. She cut the characters from the cards and placed them around the cake. I think she did an excellent job making it!! Oh yes, there is a little secret hidden in the middle of the diaper cake. Someone had shared on facebook about how they opened their diaper cake and found a surprise inside. The surprise was a bottle of wine. Jokingly Jasmine said she better find a bottle of wine in the middle of hers. My middle daughter, Heather, make it a reality by providing the bottle of wine. But, when can Jasmine drink it? She just had her birthday on the 9th and turned 20, so she has another year to be able to drink legally. Oh well!
