Andy McCullough reports the news on Friday Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts will send left handed ace starting pitcher Clayton Kershaw in Game Two of the National League Championship Series (NLCS) versus the Chicago Cubs on Sunday at Wrigley Field in Chicago Illinois. The catch is that Kershaw will be pitching on two days rest after he pitched in relief on Thursday in Game Five of the National League Division Series win over the Washington Nationals. The Chicago Cubs will send right handed starting pitcher Kyle Hendricks to oppose Kershaw on Sunday in the best of seven series. The winner of the N L C S will represent the National League in the 2016 World Series versus the winner of the American League Championship Series between the Cleveland Indians and Toronto Blue Jays.

No, Kershaw will be pitching on normal 4 days rest. Even though he pitched in relief last night, it was just 7 pitches and Kershaw explained the outing was equal to between starts hard workout so all should be okay.
