Michael Rothstein reports the news on Friday the Detroit Lions will not the services of running back Theo Riddick on Sunday when the Lions (2-3) host the Los Angeles Rams (3-2) at Ford Field in Detroit Michigan. Riddick has been battling an ankle injury that prevented him from being with his teammates in practice all week long so the decision to keep him off the field was obvious. Dwayne Washington who has been battling foot and an ankle injuries could replace Riddick as the lead running back for the Lions. Washington has been listed on the National Football League injury report as questionable. Former Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett could either be the lead running back for the Lions or he could share running back duties with Washington on Sunday. Rotoworld.com is advising fantasy football players to stay away from the Lions running back team this Sunday.
