Have you watched the new version of Ben-Hur

The original Ben-Hur movie is a very classical one but I haven't watched it yet. And now it has a new version. At first I look forwarded to it but now I heard that this new version is a disaster. Have you watched it? What do you think?

I have watched the original. Don't think any remake can match it or better it. But I am curious to know about the new version. I have also seen the Ten Commandments. The new one was a disaster.
