I wrote a post on here before about a woman who wanted to meet me. Tonight is the night.
My brother in law with his kids, My father in law and his wife and son, and my children and I are meeting this woman and her kids at a local resturant for pizza.
My son has been very emotional and extremely difficult in school lately. He has been good today at home thankfully.
Yesterday was a half day of school and he was good at home afte school until about 5 pm when we had to leave the house. Its the anxiety he gets as usual.
We are leaving soon to meet up for dinner and am hoping everything goes smoothly.

I hope everything turns out fine. Pizza is a good ice breaker.

@shaggin It seems that fast food of every sort is here to stay. Even for occations, people resort to them.

@marguicha Most pizza places around here are part of resturants where people go to ear. Many do order pizza to go though. You usually have to wait about 15 minutes to a half hour for them to make it though.

it's good to meet as a group and the kids can play with each other.

This was in a restaurant so we all were sitting at a very long table. There were 6 adults and about 9 kids. It was hard to hear anyone who wasn't sitting very close by. Two of the kids were on their ipods the whole time playing games. I made my children leave their tablets etc at home so they would socialize instead of being glued to an electronic device.

mercy, last eatin' place i went to i couldn't hear my son sittin' right next to me. folks're so rude, seemin' to wish to drowned out all who're near :( shame they don't stop 'n think if'n they talked normal that dinin' 'd be a more enjoyable time fer all.
hope all went well, hon.

Even the party I was with was extremely loud. At one point the one boy who is 13 stood up and went to the one adult and made a joke. I thought it was embarassing. If it was my son I would have told him to be more quiet and go sit down as not to disturb the other diners trying to enjoy their meals and own conversations.

@shaggin i've yet to figure when manners went out the window?? the grandson'n i spoke 'f this earlier this 'fternoon... dinin' out 'tis 'pposed to be'n opportunity to visit, enjoy a meal without the need fer kitchen clean-up - not to be drowned out by all others so's ya jest sit'n silence....'r worse, join 'em!
