Do you have a favorite ornament on your tree?

Do you have 1 special ornament that goes on your tree each year? I do. It's a pale blue sugar bowl with very delicate handles, and has gold glitter in a little swirl on the side. It was given to me by my nanny when I was about 2 years old. Every year since, without fail, that special ornament is hung just below the tree top and packed away each year with loving care. That ornament is now almost 50 years old. I plan on handing it down to my son and I hope that they think of me each year when it's time to trim the tree...

Each year I take my children to the paint your own pottery shop and they paint an ornament for the tree. I have done this sinve they were babies. My oldest is 6, so I now have 6 ornaments from her on the tree. It is fun to since the differences in them from year to year.

my tree is the same, ornaments that they have made over the years...it must be a wonderful tree..happy holidays

My favorites are ones my son made when he was a kid. He is 21 now but I still put them on the tree. I even have pictures that he drew about christmas and I hang them on the walls.

that's wonderful...i, too, have ornaments that my kids made when they were little and they are also very special on the tree each year...thanks for sharing..happy holidays

I would have to say it is the ortament my mom made for serena for her first christmas
