What's Your Favorite Liqueur?

Today is National Liqueur Day! Kind of weird that it falls on a Sunday, which is a day of rest, or spiritual/religious day for many people, but maybe it was done that way to honor all the people who went out partying on Saturday night!
A liqueur is an alcoholic mix that has added flavor as well as a sugar or other sweetener. Liqueurs differ from liquors in the sense that liqueurs often have a much lower alcohol content (15-30%), while liquors often have a much higher alcohol content (50% or higher). An easy way to tell the difference is that liqueurs are almost always a syrupy liquid, sort of like liquid cough medicine.
Liqueurs are often added to liquors to give them a more sweet tasted, or to add coloring to a mixed drink.
My favorite liqueurs are kahlua (white russians, black russians, screaming orgasms) and grenadine (hurricane, tequila sunrise, bahama mama, shirley temple).

So you're saying that you don't like the taste of Green Chartreuse? It's very expensive I see (I looked up how much it costs)

@Asylum So those monks who are in charge of making it most be sipping the bottle a little too much these days, if it tastes that bad. Maybe they're drunk when they produce it?

Oh - Sambuca looks nice when done with coffee beans, can't have more than one though. Bailey's Irish Cream... Drambuie... Glayva... Kahlua, yes.... Goldschläger (cinnamon and gold leaf!), Cointreau... Kirschwasser... One that tastes like cough medicine, Jägermeister... Advocaat... Oh, so many!
Your use of the word "liquors" reminds me of a totally inappropriate joke...

I had Sambuca for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and I thought I was going to vomit all over the bar. That was the nastiest stuff I've ever tasted! But a very attractive girl wanted me to drink some with her, so I had to man up and do it. The things we do for women!
Goldschlager is an old favorite of mine (the gold leaf). My friends used to tell me that I drank so much of it that my poop should be made of gold!
I cannot stand the sight of, the smell of, or the taste of Jaegermeister....reminds me too much of cough syrup!

I prefer margaritas. I guess most girls would like a margarita as their drink.

Margaritas are popular with the ladies! I think girls like any type of drink that is fruity or sweet. Pina Coladas and daiquiris are also pretty popular with the ladies.
