Tis the season for Fall Gardening

This is the time for transplanting -- trees, berry bushes, asparagus, strawberries, bulbs, as well as enjoying cold hardy crops like leeks and cabbage.

It is also the season to enjoy the glorious colors of Mother Nature.

The colors are yellow and red plus evergreen. The evergreen is not the same all the time, though. It has it's changes just as surely. The bright green of new growth. The varigated orange and green when the old needles are ready to fall off. The dark green of a foggy fall day...
