Good evening. As I get older I noticed that my dry skin has gotten worse. I tried to limit my time in the shower and not use very hot water. I have tried many cream.Spend many dollars and still do not get much relief. My worst dry skin is in the gentile area. The last cream or jell that I bought was Aqua For this seems to help some. I have tried so many out there and still not getting the relief. For my bloggers here for those who had dry skin. How do you handle this?

I wonder if i can get a better cream when I get older. Does it hurt with dry skin? sounds like my hands after doing manual laundry so much.

I use a very thick cream at night so that my PJs stop it from soiling the sheets.

@amadeo Any common brand. I check that they are made by dermathologists and are not costetic things full of smells.

Try to attack the problem internally as well as externally, vitamin E would bring back skin glow. Somebody suggested aloe vera that is also good as well as applying vitamin E oils as lotion or lotion preparation

I use to just put regular lotion on it but now I just don't care. My legs stay dry ashy looking all the time now and I don't care enough to put any on. I only put it on when I have an important meeting or place to be and I plan on wearing a dress or skirt. My hands are the only place I use it anymore.

I don“t use any lotion. yet. I havent gotten dry skin at this stage in my life; however, a natural cream made from any plant can work.

I put on virgin coconut oil. It is a good moisturizer. Also, it has anti-bacterial properties.

you are doing good thing by using lukewarm water. This is very nice. After taking bath, apply aloe vera gel on the skin and give light massage. Drink two spoons of gel along with warm water. Do this for a week. Tell me the result. If it does not work I will tell you another method with simple modification.
