Oh dear. But an easy mistake to make.

So wife and I walked tbe two miles or so to Tesco tonight. Got into the store. Did our shop. Went to till. I said to wife as we left checkout " she is hot " ( girl who served us ) Staff member walks past and says " she is a he " Easy mistake to make these days !! Why do so many young men look like young women? My wife gets her eyebrows done in tbe city and one day as she waited for her turn at least 5 Guys were done before her and two were getting nails done. I am a 55 year old child of tbe 60,s Ex Army. Father of 4 grown up boys. I am a bit old school. I sometimes struggle with tbe modern world. If any of my sons ever had got their eyebrows or nails done or wore makeup I would have freaked out. I have one son who is gay and I have talked about stuff like this with him and be doesnt know what to make of a lot of it either. What gets my goat is that I really thought this little cutie tonight was a girl. Androgny sucks. So have any of you ever been confused like I was confused tonight.? How would you feel about yourself afterwards?

It is a nice easy mistake to make these days. It wouldn't bother me too much.

It does bother me quite a lot. If you were a 55 year old male who got the hots for a guy you thought was a girl It might bother you. On a few levels. Cant get over the fact my wife laughed and said I might be on the turn.

Now a days a lot of people are coming out But there are times I don't know how to address people like those transitioning. I needed help at Target and the employee was dressed as a female but a male voice - I did not know how to address the person. Off topic There are some men who call themselves male but love make up! But there are some men who love make up and want to be defined as a woman, so it's confusing.

I think this guy was straight. Androgynous but straight. I reckon if a guy is dressing like a girl i would address her as Miss. Transgender people are usually straight arent they?

@saulgoodman Oh he must look like the cute boy! Transgender people depends? Some actually even have a reassignment surgery too! It's crazy! I stumbled upon a YouTube guru that did! Male to female! Male organs to female organs too along with all the surgeries!

@infatuatedbby Transgender. Isnt it usually because a guy feels he is really a girl trapped in a guys body and vice versa.

@saulgoodman When I do come into contact with people who prefer to project as belonging to a gender he/she is not,I do not mind it at all.To each his/her own.But of course,it is confusing.

No. Never been to a metal fest. I have a shaved head though. Maybe dudes with long hair might think i am a chick. So the girls have the moustaches??

@Sasquatchy Omfg. I could be a bald chick icon. My wife and I perceived as a lesbian couple. How cool is that? Works for me!
