Michael David Smith reports the news on Monday San Francisco 49er head coach Chip Kelly has announced he will start Colin Kaepernick as his starting quarterback for the next football game versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The football game will be played at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara California on Sunday October 23, 2016. The 49ers (1-5) are trying to stop a five game losing streak by beating the Buccaneers (2-3) next week.
Kaepernick made his first start of the 2016 football season last Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills replacing Blaine Gabbert who started the first five games of the current football season before Kelly decided to make a quarterback change to increase the chances to win their second win of the current football season.
The Bills won their football game versus the 49ers by a final score of 45-16 at New Era Field in Orchard Park New York.
Kelly will have to decide if he will stay with Kaepernick after the Buccaneers football game after the 49ers have a bye week before they host the New Orleans Saints on November 6, 2016 or will Kelly start either Christian Ponder or give the leadership back to Gabbert if Kaepernick is not able to give the team a chance to beat the Buccaneers next Sunday,

Maybe the 49ers have given up on the season and hope Kaepernick gets slaughtered every outing thus giving them the excuse to dump him.
